Une belle aventure

Our new life in 'Les Vosges'

June: It’s very much about the garden and the nature around us

The Potager is doing really well and I am loving it. I never thought I would get so much satisfaction from it.
With the summer’s weather under way we needed to find a way to get some water. Matt installed a rain water tank. It filled up in one night so he needed to install an over flow.
However it hasn’t rained in 2 weeks now and we’ve had to fill it up with the tap water. Still it is better than watering the garden with cold water.
We need to install a couple more as we have loads of gutter.

The ‘Rose Tremieres’ are now decorating the front of the house and attracting some interesting bees. Those large black solitary ones called carpenters bees.

Our lodgers have flown the nest. It’s kind of sad but no more poo in the garage! yay.
