Holiday time with the kids! Yay…
One great thing about living here is that we don’t really need to go anywhere as everything we usually enjoy doing during our free time is right on our door step. However having the kids for 2 whole weeks was still pretty stressful and I am kind of glad, they have gone back to school. 😉
The weather was pretty great and we had some beautiful days.

We are situated close to a valley so (apart from the mountain you see above) you can see for miles in all directions, which means that we get a lot of jet planes, including the french airforce who practise dog-fighting and bombing runs with their Mirage aircraft. Pretty amazing really as some of them fly very low.

We found some lodgers on the shutters. How cute!

Rhys made an interesting train track, which he proudly called the ‘willy track’!

We went cycling round the village and enjoyed the lovely countryside.

I need to learn about mushrooms as the area is just full of them and people go ‘aux champignons’ weekly. Is this one edible?

Time with the neighbours: ’round ours and ’round theirs.

And Halloween is also celebrated here so we got a pumpkin and the kids went trick or treating. The amount of stuff they got was crazy!
